Has the transfer-case oil been changed, or has a repair been completed? On supported BMW xDrive systems, we carry out the appropriate VTG service function and calibration remotely. The necessary work on the vehicle must have been completed professionally beforehand.

€80 for the agreed remote VTG adaptation or appropriate calibration. We check the VIN, exact transfer-case version and software against the completed service or repair.

Our service

Checking the vehicle, VTG variant and agreed reason for the service.
Carrying out the diagnostic service function specified for that case.
Checking the function result and carrying out a final fault-memory check.

Before the appointment

Send the VIN, model, fault report and a brief description of the work completed. We check in advance whether your VTG supports the requested function. A Windows laptop, internet access, the confirmed diagnostic interface and a suitable power supply must be ready. A suitably qualified person at the vehicle must be able to meet the on-site requirements.

Calibration is not a mechanical repair

Incorrect or unevenly worn tyres, unsuitable oil and mechanical damage are not fixed by a reset. Unexplained juddering requires diagnosis first. This service does not disable xDrive and includes neither an oil change nor replacement parts or repair work. Any required road test and final vehicle inspection must be carried out by the workshop on site.

We can arrange the remote appointment after purchase; choosing a time slot is not mandatory when buying the service.
